FAMILY AFFAIR @ TEXAS STATE FAIR!!!

THE AGENDA IS AS FOLLOWS......

All, What time did we want to eat ? Here is what we sort of planned for: 1. serve snacks from 9:45am - 11:15 ( so you dont have to buy breakfast, just come on out) 2. serve lunch at ?????? (lets try to pick a time where we all can sit down) 3. snacks: apple, orange, snack cakes, homemade brownies, softdrinks & water, boiled eggs 4. lunch : sandwiches (ham&cheese, peanut butter& jellie, egg salad, hot links) chips homemade brownies softdrinks & water 5. Hey Family, Mike had mentioned that all us get together and go to the Texas State Fair on Oct 18 (sat) ...this will be a good weekend and it is after the Texas_OU weekend so it wont be crowded.. Also we can always park about 10 minutes from my house and ride train to downtown then to fair Also this will give me a good chance to go ahead and sign both rob and deuce to MLE contracts (duh ???????come on guys Major League Eating...its a great sport) I will also check to see if we can reserve table space in the areas they do have for picnic Lets make it happen ...I included info about group tickets below and the kids will have lots of fun.. Fair Website: www.bigtex.com FAIR CALENDAR: September 26 - October 19 TICKET PRICES: • General Admission: $14 • Kids under 48" tall: $10 • Seniors 60 and over: $10 • Children 2 and under: Free • Seniors 60 and over: Free every Thursday (Oct. 2, Oct. 9 & Oct. 16). Sponsored by Mature Texan Magazine. • Garden Getaway combo ticket: $17 Details HOURS: State Fair of Texas exhibit buildings open at 10 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. each Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (closing at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Midway opening times and closing times vary. PARKING: $10 per space used on official State Fair lots. Valet parking is $25. Fairgrounds parking map.
